NNAY – Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in volunteering for the No Need Among You Conference? Volunteer space is limited.

If you volunteer for one full day or two half-days you will receive a discounted conference registration of $25. Once accepted and confirmed as a volunteer, a registration code will be sent for the discounted rate.

Volunteers will also receive a t-shirt and meals provided as part of the conference.

All volunteer activities will take place at the conference location:  Good Hope Missionary Baptist Chruch, 3015 N. MacGregor Way, Houston, TX 77004.

Tuesday, Oct. 24: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. (5 volunteers needed)

  • Volunteers will help set up and stuff bags and nametag holders.

Wednesday, Oct. 25: 7 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (15 volunteers needed)

& Thursday, Oct. 26: 7:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. (15 volunteers needed)

  • Greeters in parking lot and at doors to direct people in the a.m.
  • Check-in desk & on-site registration
  • Volunteers assigned to main auditorium & lobby/exhibitor area (answer questions, help exhibitors set-up, tidy area, and distribute and collect evaluations)
  • Info table/TxCCDN table volunteer (answer questions, accept membership sign-ups and monitor sign-ups for ministry tours)
  • Photographers to capture images of the conference that we can use in promoting it next year
  • Workshop room hosts during workshops (greet, help speakers and pass out/collect evaluations)
  • Floaters to assist board members, speakers, the volunteer coordinator and me, as needed

Friday, Oct. 27: 7:30 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. (8 volunteers needed)

  • Volunteers assigned to main auditorium & lobby/exhibitor area (answer questions, help exhibitors set-up, tidy area, and distribute and collect overall conference evaluations)
  • Info table/TxCCDN table volunteer (answer questions, accept membership sign-ups and monitor sign-ups for ministry tours)
  • Photographers to capture images of the conference that we can use in promoting it next year
  • Workshop room hosts during workshops (greet, help speakers and pass out/collect evaluations
  • Floaters to assist board members, speakers, volunteer coordinator and me, as needed.
  • End of conference volunteers – all volunteers on this day will help with tear down when the conference ends at noon
